A storm with heavy winds & rain passed through last night, but I do not see any damage to my home or property. Do I still need to call for storm damage inspection?

Yes. Most damage from hurricanes, heavy wind, rain and hail cannot be seen from the ground. It takes an experienced storm damage restoration inspector to properly assess your home to pinpoint any and all damages.

Why do I need to hire a storm restoration company if the public adjuster can assess damages?

Although an insurance adjuster is trained in assessing storm damage, they do not know every intricate detail of residential or commercial roofing systems. When you hire our licensed and professional roofing contractor, we guarantee no detail will be overlooked.

When should I file an insurance claim?

Many times, the insurance company will already know a storm has hit your area and is expecting your call. Immediately after a storm hits your area, call our storm damage repair company for an inspection. After the assessment, we’ll help you contact your insurance company and start the claim process.

What if my insurance doesn’t give me enough money to cover the cost of the project?

Unfortunately, we do see this happen from time to time. To cover the rest of the project, ask us about flexible in house financing options! We also accept all major credit cards and personal checks.

If I file a claim will my rates increase?

It is common practice in the insurance world for everyone’s rates to increase after a severe storm hits the area. If you chose not to file a claim, your rate is going to be paying for everyone else’s damages to be repaired except your own!

Should I get multiple quotes from other storm damage restoration companies?

If your insurance company is paying for the work the amount of the bid does not matter as long as it is equal to or less than their estimate. In any case you’re only paying your deductible. You should choose a company you trust to handle the work, not the amount of money they’re charging.

What is hail and how can it affect my home?

Hail is a frozen raindrop, formed during severe thunderstorms, varying in size from a dime all the way up to a golf ball. Hailstones, no matter how large or small, can cause significant damage to your roof, siding, gutters and windows.

How can I tell if my roof has hail damage?

It is nearly impossible to tell if your roof has been damaged from the ground. You’ll need to call a professional roofing contractor to get on the roof and inspect your shingles for cracks and leaks.

What other kind of damages will you look for during inspection?

Since TQRR is a full service storm damage restoration company, we’ll also inspect your doors, windows, gutters and siding. A full inspection of the exterior of your home or building allows us to create a detailed report to submit to your insurance company.

How does your inspection process work?

If your insurance company is paying for the work the amount of the bid does not matter as long as it is equal to or less than their estimate. In any case you’re only paying your deductible. You should choose a company you trust to handle the work, not the amount of money they’re charging.

How long does the entire process take?

There are many factors to consider: extent of damage, cooperation from insurance companies, permits, inspections, etc. We aim to get the entire process done within 1 – 2 months from initial damage inspection.

Yes! TQRR is fully licensed and insured to work on residential and commercial properties in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Virginia. Furthermore, all of our employees are highly trained, experienced and certified. We’ve been in the storm damage restoration business for over 40 years!

I would rate this company higher if I could. I've worked with many contractors in the past and this company is top notch.  I needed a new roof and gutters for a 3,000 sq ft house.  TQRR helped me through the process, listening to my wants and concerns.  They guided me through selecting the right shingle type and color.  Continue reading ...
